Sterling L2A3 Submachine Gun

Hey Guys,

I present the iconic 'Sterling L2A3 Sub-Machine gun' (AKA the "E-11" from Star Wars).
The belated British SMG that was cheap and popular amongst the Royal Navy in the 1940's. A true historic icon of the British Military.

High Poly: 80,000 Tris
Low Poly (Baked): 42,000 Tris

What an experience this has been...

I took this opportunity to study in depth the steps needed to professionally render, to correctly bake onto low poly assets and to texture with close attention detail. I have encountered so many obstacles and tiny mistakes, all of which I have returned to and fixed. Including, errors that were lost causes.
I know I haven't achieved perfection but I am very happy with the results of this project and I aim to take the skills I have learnt these past few weeks and use them in all of my future projects. As always any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated.
